Place of Grace Staff Information
Staff Qualifications
All staff will be appropriately trained according to Childcare Licensing regulations as a minimum level. This includes CPR, First Aide, and Food Handler’s training. In addition, Place of Grace has set the standard to have a minimum of a WVIT or ACDS certification for all infant and toddler teachers. All lead teachers in the preschool classrooms shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Early Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. All teachers shall participate in a minimum of 15 hours per year of approved continuing education. Staff are also required to participate in weekly meetings and bi-monthly staff development.
